Cold Brew Coffee Float

I drink obscene amounts of coffee. I also like my coffee really strong. I guess that’s what happens when you’re a mix from two of the most coffee drinking nations in the world.

This recipe of cold brew coffee concentrate makes a really strong cup of java so I recommend drinking it with ice, milk, half and half, condensed milk or simple syrup and diluting it to suit your taste. I made a large batch (2 cups of coffee ground beans to 4 cups of water) and it lasted several days and the beautiful thing with this recipe is that it’s based on proportions and you can easily make just as much as you need.

This is my favorite way to serve iced coffee, in a tall glass filled with ice and topped with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream on a hot day. Let that ice cream melt and sweeten the coffee. Yum!

The post Cold Brew Coffee Float appeared first on On a Sweet Sugar Rush.
