American Bliss

The recipe comes from First magazine. It looks like a pretty dessert in the magazine but after making it, I have to say that you need to be VERY careful with the layers. Be SURE that your layers are set. Also make sure your cream layer is sealed against the side of the glass the entire way around. I did not and when I added my second jello layer, it oozed underneath the cream layer and floated it to the top. :{ I did not end up with pretty layers. I think it might be better to partially set the remaining jello before you put it in as the second jello layer. Maybe it will not be so likely to run under the cream layer that way.I will rewrite the directions to reflect this. Time does not include chilling time.
