From This is not gourmet but it is easy to throw together quickly, especially if you speed the cooling time but putting the ground beef in the fridge or prepping it the night before, and it is a very forgiving recipe with omissions and substitutions and it is simple and pleasing so I love it for a quick dinner or as an appetizer! Use pizza dough, Italian sausage and mozarella cheese and omit the bacon for another variation. I dip the cheeseburger rolls into bacon ranch dressing (serve with mustard and mayo) and the Italian sausage rolls into homemade marinara sauce. For a party appetizer, slice more thinly! Enjoy! Prep time does not include cooling time.
