  • core whole baking apples - check with your grocer for which type is best and available in your area - and peel skin about one inch around edge. for each fruit, use 2-3 sprays of butter substitute, sprinkle a bit of cinnamon, vanilla extract, and splenda. place upright in 8" square pan with 1 inch water. leaving some space between each, bake in oven at 375 degrees. also try using pears instead and adjust calories slightly for fruit size. calculations are for each fruit. you will find yourself making bigger batches and eating them with all your meals and snacks.
