This is such a great summer pie, which can be eaten either hot or cold. It's quite easy to make and really looks incredible. Goes great with whipped (vanilla-flavoured) cream. Mind: Dough needs one hour chilling time.

Ingredients

  • 250 g flour
  • 150 g butter
  • 3 tablespoons icing sugar
  • 1 egg (separated)
  • 3 tablespoons cold water
  • 750 g mixed berries (best use fresh ones, but frozen ones work well, too. just drain them properly)
  • 150 g sugar (if berries are very sour, you might need more.)
