  • 1 medium carrot, peeled and shredded (about 1/2 cup)
  • 1-inch piece ginger root, peeled and crushed
  • 1/4 to 1/3 cup miso (soy bean paste)
  • 3 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 2 green onions, chopped (about 1/4 cup)
  • 2 sheets nori, cut into 1/4-inch strips (optional)
