To have some fun this summer season, Smucker's sundae specialist, Sarah Palter suggests putting a twist on a traditional sundae. While bacon is most often paired with eggs and toast, Canadian chefs are now taking this savoury treat off the breakfast plate and adding it to popular desserts. Bacon sundaes might sound a little different, but the sweet and savoury blend of candied bacon, maple ice cream and caramel syrup melts perfectly in the mouth and is sure to please any palette.
