This delicacy is very commonly made in gujarati households. Marinating papdi helps enhance the flavour, as the spices mix well with the papdi. Besan dhoklis increase the taste and appeal of the subzi, but remember to drop the dhoklis after the papdis are cooked. It is also important to simmer the subzi till the dhoklis get cooked. Papdi is rich in iron and thus helps increase hemoglobin count if consumed regularly.
