I am not sure where this recipe came from, but after the first taste DH said "this is a keeper". The only comment from DH was that it needed "more mushrooms...fresh ones...and you should have made more". This is by far one of the EASIEST recipes I have ever made. Feel free to use whatever you have on hand. The measurements are just suggestions (I rarely measure), so adjust to your tastes. Serve over mashed makes a wonderful gravy. Even the leftovers were delicious! UPDATE: I made this with a small chuck roast and it was just as good. Served over mashed potatoes with chive sour cream and garlic.
