Sheermal is one of the most appreciated and popular mughlai breads world over. It is prepared with plain flour loads of ghee and cream. It uses milk for kneading the dough instead of water and is slightly sweet owing to the sugar added to it. Cardamom powder and saffron are add flavoring to this delicious roti. Saffron is used twice while preparing this roti. It is used while preparing the dough and the hot sheermal is brushed with saffron milk before serving, thus giving it a lovely glaze and making it a true delicacy.
