  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 3 large green peppers, chopped
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 (14 1/2 ounce) beef broth
  • 2 (10 3/4 ounce) condensed tomato soup, undiluted. (i use 4 cans instead. my husband say it tasted better)
  • 1 (28 ounce) crushed tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 (4 ounce) mushroom stems and pieces, drained
  • 1 1/2 cups cooked rice
