Yorkshires or Popovers

A mini yorkshire pan and a Bamix or Braun electric hand mixer or blender make these rise as high as they do! Do not use a Kitchen Aid or two beater blender, they will not rise very high, (I've tried). They are delicious when served up with a beef roast and scrumptious gravy.

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups milk (i use skim, but any milk will do)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 -4 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons oil, for batter
  • 1/2 cup oil, for pan
